Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Ram 2500 is available in seven trims, including the all-new Rebel. The Rebel is fourth in the trim lineup and is just as visually appealing thanks to its Sport Performance hood, Black-surround unique grille, powder-coated bumpers, unique Black wheel flares, 20-inch Black-painted with Diamond-Cut aluminum wheels, and unique Ram scripted tailgate with damped opening assist. Depending on your trim, you can also get quad-halogen headlamps, LED fog lamps, a raised ride height, and chrome wheel-to-wheel side steps. Two-tone paint options are sure to turn heads, and the Night Edition's premium blacked-out appearance is bound to do the same.
Engine (Power)
All but the top two trims come standard with a powerful 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 Variable Valve Timing engine with FuelSaver and Multi-Displacement System Technology mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain has a solid output of 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. The top Limited Longhorn and Limited trims come standard with a 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel I-6 engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. This bad boy pumps out 370 horsepower and has a massive 850 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Towing capacity varies among trims, but it's strong from the ground up. It starts at a solid 10,520 pounds on the Power Wagon and maxes out at 17,300 pounds on the Limited Longhorn. A seven-pin wiring harness and Class V receiver-hitch come standard, and you can opt for trailer camera wiring and 20K direct-mounted fifth-wheel hitch by Mopar. A heavy-duty suspension comes standard on higher trims, and you can opt for an automatic-leveling rear air-suspension.
Interior
The interior is equal parts comfortable and tech-forward, offering conveniences you didn't know you needed as standard or available to add. These include features like a Premium 12-inch digital Driver Information Display, Digital Rearview Mirror 3.0, premium leather front seats that are heated and ventilated, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. UConnect Multimedia keeps you connected just as the name suggests with features like voice command, a dual-remote USB media hub, a wireless charging pad, Apple CarPlay support, and Android Auto compatibility. Plus, that's not all! You can also turn up the volume with an available 17-speaker Harman Kardon Premium sound system.
Safety Features
Many advanced safety features come standard across each trim. Regardless of what you choose, your Ram will come equipped with Electronic Roll Mitigation, Hill-Start Assist, Low-Beam Daytime Running Headlamps, Tire Pressure Monitoring Display, Tire Fill Alert, Rear Seat Alert, and Trailer Sway Damping. Plenty of features are available for you to add on as well. These include Blind-Spot with Tag Trailer & Cross-Path Detection, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, Full-Speed Forward-Collision Warning Plus, Surround-View Camera, Lane-Keep Assist, and Hill-Descent Control.
